Light Up and Shine: Community Christmas Lights Trail 2026
Port Augusta City Council invites all residents to take part in this year’s Light Up and Shine Community Christmas Lights Event by decorating your home, garden, or front yard with festive lights and displays to help bring Christmas cheer across our community.
Key Dates
- Registrations open: Monday, 2nd November 2026
- Registrations close: Monday 30th November 2026 at 5:00 pm
- Map launch: Friday, 4th December 2026 (to coincide with the Port Augusta Christmas Pageant)
How It Works
Register your household to be part of this year’s Light Up and Shine trail. Once registrations close, Council will create a map showcasing all participating addresses — so families can plan their own festive light tours around Port Augusta and Stirling North!
Don’t worry — no personal names will be published. Only the street addresses of registered properties will be included.
A printable list of addresses will also be available to download from our website once the map is live.
