Port Augusta’s newest and most impressive facility can cater for a range of conferences and expos. From small meetings to an expo, Central Oval is the place for your next event in the region.

Augusta Room

Room Only (Ground Floor) for both full and half day. This fully equipped space can include:

• Data projector and laptop
• Whiteboard
• Tea & coffee provisions.

Augusta Room & Café Area

This is an expanded space that is ideal for conferences requiring two separate spaces and can separate dining from the conference/meeting. Alternatively it can provide two work/conferences space catering for split groups.

Flinders Room

The impressive upstairs function room with its amazing view across Central Oval is perfect for a conference, product launch, or corporate event. Equipment includes

• Data projector and laptop
• Wireless Microphone
• Podium
• Whiteboard
• Tea & coffee provisions.

Bar and kitchen facilities can also be made available.

Three-Court Indoor Stadium

Perfect for large conferences and can cater for 500 people with its retractable seating, large flat screen television for presentations, and inbuilt speaker system. This space is also ideal for expos and travelling exhibitions requiring a large space.

Lea Memorial Theatre

Hannagan Street, Port Augusta

Used as a key venue for conferences, award ceremonies, product launches, as a performance space and for other events. As a performance space it has a standard overhead lighting rig and comes inclusive of a basic sound system providing playback facilities for CD’s, MD’s and MP3’s.

• Fully air conditioned
• Data projector, lap top, white board, screen and microphone included
• Disabled access and toilets
• Catering can be organised for all events
• Portable staging (extra charges apply)

Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden (AALBG) Meeting Room

Located in the Visitor Centre at picturesque Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden, the modern conference room is air conditioned and can cater for up to 20 people boardroom style 50 theatre style
