Temporary Food Stalls and Mobile Food Vendors

Temporary food stalls are structures such as marquees that are used to sell food at occasional events like a fete, market or show.

Mobile food vendors use food premises designed to be permanent but movable, including food vans, trucks and trailers for on-site food preparation.

Temporary food stalls and mobile food vendors need to complete the Temporary Food Stall Notification Form.

You need to ensure that there are handwashing facilities available along with adequate wastewater disposal, temperature control and suitable storage for the food. Council's Environmental Health Officer will provide you with a copy of the approved/refused temporary food premises form along with any additional conditions.
