PW2PA Alliance website and community app are now live
Visit the website to find out the latest news and information about the Port Wakefield Overpass and Highway Duplication Project, and the Joy Baluch AM Bridge Duplication Project in Port Augusta.
The community app is available at no cost by downloading Site Podium from the App Store or Google Play Store to your smart phone or tablet. It provides easy access to real time project updates, news stories and advance notice of traffic restrictions for motorist travelling in the region.
You can use the website or community app to make enquiries and provide feedback about the projects.

Detours for pedestrians over Joy Baluch AM Bridge - May/June 2024
Planning to use the pedestrian walkway over Joy Baluch AM Bridge? If so, please look out for detour signs directing you to switch over to the other side of the bridge.
As part of our exciting art program, we are installing a 'ribbon' of marine life designs on the bridge spans.
We will start the ribbon installation in early May, and we expect that it will take around 6 weeks to complete.
There will be no changes to traffic, however, we will need to detour pedestrians.
- While we work on the new bridge pedestrians need to use the walkway of the original bridge.
- When we work on the original bridge pedestrians will be moved to the walkway of the new bridge.
Detour signs will direct pedestrians onto the walkway of the new bridge. The pedestrian detours will be in place from 7am Monday to 6pm Friday for the duration of the work.
We appreciate your co-operation and patience while these important works are undertaken.
Statement from PW2PA Alliance
The PW2PA Alliance (CPB Contractors Pty Ltd, Aurecon Pty Ltd and GHD Pty Ltd, and DPTI) have been awarded the contract to design and construct the Joy Baluch AM Bridge Duplication and Port Wakefield Overpass and Highway Duplication projects. Since project award, the Alliance has been busy establishing project systems and continuing design work.
You can provide your contact details to PW2PA so you can make project enquiries, register for project updates, provide feedback and bring to their attention any issues you would like to discuss with project team members, about either the Joy Baluch AM Bridge Duplication or Port Wakefield Overpass and Highway Duplication projects.

Feedback from the Community Information Sessions
