Use of Council Open Space Areas
FITNESS ACTIVITY ON COUNCIL OPEN PUBLIC SPACES
Using open public spaces for undertaking fitness activities is becoming increasingly popular and Port Augusta City Council plays a key role in providing recreational opportunities and supporting infrastructure that encourages physical activity and healthy lifestyle activities for the community.
Section 200 of the Local Government Act 1999 provides that Council must approve the use of Community Land for business purposes.
Fitness Activity Permit – Personal Applicants and Fitness Groups
