Draft 2026/2027 Business Plan and Budget and Long Term Financial Plan 2027-2036
The Port Augusta City Council has released the following two key documents for community review:
1. Draft 2026/2027 Business Plan and Budget - 1 year
The Annual Business Plan and Budget outlines Council’s priorities for the financial year, including services, infrastructure projects, strategic planning initiatives and how they will be funded. Council is required to develop and adopt this plan annually as per the Local Government Act 1999 and financial regulations. This plan aligns with our Long Term Financial Plan and Asset Management Plans and reflects the Port Augusta City Council Strategic Directions 2035 for the future.
2. Draft Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP) - 10 years
The draft Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP) for 2027- 2036 has been prepared to guide the financial decision-making and planning of Council over the next ten years. The LTFP is an essential component of Council’s strategic management plans and is reviewed annually to ensure it remains relevant to the evolving needs of the community and organisation.
Council invites our community to review the documents, ask questions via one of the information sessions and provide feedback.
