Face Mask Distribution For Community Members

Face masks are an additional physical barrier and help to stop the spread of COVID-19, therefore The State Government have advised they will assign Port Augusta City Council the task to provide free face masks to community members.

The State Government have advised they will assign Port Augusta City Council the task to provide free face masks to community members.

Face mask packs will be available to be collected from the Civic Centre and the Public Library from December 1st 2020.

Opening times for the allocations are listed below:

Civic Centre

Face masks can also be collected on the grounds outside of the Civic Centre building at 4 Mackay Street if required by phoning the Civic Centre on 8641 9100.

To protect yourself and others and help stop the spread of coronavirus:

Currently in South Australia, wearing a mask in the community when you are well is not generally recommended. However some people may be required to wear a mask.

Please note: In some instances if you attend Council locations you may be requested/provided with a face mask on entry.
