Ryan Mitchell Swim Centre Upgrade

The Ryan Mitchell Swim Centre is approximately 50 years old and Port Augusta City Council have recently secured Government funding to undertake an upgrade of the Centre to address the ageing facility and reduce increasing running costs of the popular public asset.

The following scope of work will occur to complete the project:

  • Tender for Concept Design, Public Consultation, Final Design and Project Management of Construction) released (May 2021)
  • Evaluation (June 2021)
  • Contractor appointed (July 2021)
  • Concept Stage (July 2021)
  • Public Consultation Stage (November 2021)
  • Report Provided to Council (October 2021)
  • Design Stage (December 2021)
  • Tender for Construction (January 2022)
  • Evaluation (January 2022)
  • Council Meeting (January 2022)
  • Commence onsite works (March 2022)
  • Complete Project (Mid-January 2023)
