Customer Service Officer

Deliver high quality customer service as the first point of contact with Port Augusta City Council, providing and recording accurate information for customers while providing business support.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, administration and/or related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with or diffuse difficult situations
  • Demonstrated skills in money handling and management
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in order to provide information, record and relay messages, prepare correspondence and documents

Experience in cash handling and banking or accounts payable/receivable
