Final Day for Dog Registrations

30 August 2017
Tomorrow, Thursday 31 August 2017, is the due date to register your dog. On Monday, 4 September 2017 Council will commence a door knock and owners of any unregistered dogs will incur a $170 fine in addition to registration fees. A late fee of $15 will be automatically applied to all late dog registrations effective Friday, 1 September 2017.

Comment on Council's Draft report into rating review sought

7 February 2017
Port Augusta City Council committed to review the way it sets rates for properties across the City. It engaged independent financial consultant JAC Comrie Pty Ltd to undertake a review of its basis of rating which has been endorsed by Council and is now available for public comment. The draft Report ‘Port Augusta City Council - Review of Basis of Rating’ was presented to Council on January 23, 2017 and is available to download on Council’s website with printed copies also available from the Civic Centre foyer.
