COVID-19 Rates Hardship

Port Augusta City Council acknowledges that many ratepayers are being impacted by current Government restrictions in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are experiencing hardship, complete the on-line form linked below regarding the impact of COVID-19 on your ability to pay your 2020/2021 first quarter rates to enable assessment of your individual circumstances to be undertaken.

If your application is successful, Port Augusta City Council will

  • provide an extended timeframe and payment plan arrangement to clear the first quarter balance by November 2020
  • remit fines and interest incurred on the first quarter instalment amount

Applications for hardship relating to the first quarter must be lodged prior to the 30th of September 2020. Approval will relate to the first quarter only and not apply retrospectively.
