The Director Infrastructure is an executive leadership role within the organisation and is responsible for the strategic management and provision of services to Council and the community. The role has responsibility to manage the infrastructure department efficiently and effectively to achieve Council’s strategic goals and objectives and to meet legislative, policy and reporting requirements.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Delivery of Councils capital works program in accordance with specified cost, time and quality ensuring stakeholders are engaged and informed
  • Deliver a high standard of professionalism, engagement and compliance in accordance with building and planning functions
  • Promote and enhance the effectiveness of Councils role within the community
  • Creating an environment where people are challenged, inspired, stretched, empowered and encouraged to realise their potential
  • High level written and communication skills
  • Degree level tertiary qualifications in relevant field (Engineering, Civil, Law, Business, Finance, Electrical etc) required
