Lead the operational finance team (Customer Service, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and rates). Deliver high quality finance operations that ensure accurate and timely provision of services for customers as well as business support. Support the Finance Manager with the delivery of ad hoc projects and strategic financial information.

The successful applicant will have:

  • High level of communication and consultation skills with work colleagues, customer, agencies, auditors and financial institutions.
  • High level strategic problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Managerial experience preferably within local government.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of budgetary and financial planning applications.
  • Knowledge of the principles of rating/property systems.
