What we have to offer

This program offers retired men over 65 years of age and veterans place to go where they can enjoy physical and social activities. The Men's Shed is a self-sufficient community project which relies upon the production and sale of items by participants and kind donations and support from the local community.

What can you do at the Men's Shed?

  • Work on community projects
  • Have the opportunity to use past skills and develop new ones
  • Renew old friendships and make new acquaintenances
  • Access free health information
  • The Shed is also a place to talk and relax.

Program for Older Males (65 years and over)

When: Monday and Tuesday
Time: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Cost: $2 per day

Program for Veterans

When: Wednesday
Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

The Men's Shed

The Hughes/Davies Memorial Veterans Information Centre offers hands on assistance and advice for all ex-servicemen and women.

Pension and Welfare officers are available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to assist you with any questions or paperwork.

Drop into the Men's Shed and visit the Veteran's Information Centre Wednesday 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

The Mens Shed won a 2005 Regional Award         SA Great 2009 Regional Award Winner Community Group
