Cemeteries
The Port Augusta Council manages and maintains three cemeteries:
The Council maintains a burial register which contains the following details about deceased persons:
- Name
- Age
- Date of Burial
- Cemetery and Section
- Plot/Grave Number
- Who performed the Ceremony

Port Augusta Cemetery Upgrade - Graves more than a century old and all but forgotten have been revived as part of the Port Augusta Cemetery upgrade, on Carlton Parade.
